Littleton Conservation Commission Schedules Mill Road Wetland Site Walk for Friday

LITTLETON — January 3, 2023 — Littleton Conservation Commission schedules wetland buffer site walk for 70 Mill Road addition. The commission on January 3 heard a Request for Determination of Applicability for a 432-square-foot addition proposed by property owners Sean and Sarah Moquin, represented by Kristen Farr of Hancock Associates on behalf of applicant Mark Haroulis of Hollywood Interiors. The project sits 93.7 feet from Mill Pond — seven to eight feet inside the 100-foot buffer zone — and would be supported by Lally columns rather than a full foundation. Members raised unanswered questions about site access, a potentially significant tree near the patio area, and restrictions on material stockpiling within the buffer zone, prompting a unanimous decision to conduct a site walk on January 6 at 12:30 p.m. before continuing the hearing to the commission's January 17 meeting. The commission also confirmed its schedule through March, retaining a February 21 meeting despite school vacation week concerns from at least one member.
