Conservation Commission · Meeting of October 20, 2026

LITTLETON — The Littleton Conservation Commission voted 5-1 to support Article 11, a townwide ban on anticoagulant rodenticides, and discussed ongoing harassment of a Cloverdale land steward. Conservation Agent Tim told the board the harassment has reached a point where the steward said it is "not worth it anymore" to continue volunteer work there, and asked commissioners to help coordinate a response, possibly involving town counsel. One member dissented on the rodenticide vote, saying "I don't like any town that wants to do stuff like that." The commission also closed a hearing and unanimously issued an order of conditions for an accessory dwelling unit at 200 Whitcomb, and continued five other pending hearings, including the Shaker Lane Elementary School reconstruction and a Newtown Road church expansion, to November 10 after the November 3 town election pushed back the schedule.
