Conservation Commission · Meeting of September 22, 2026

Littleton Conservation Commission advanced a comprehensive management plan for town-owned Long Lake property. The Commission recommended a three-part plan including vegetation management (6-0), upland boat storage (3-2 with one split), and dock licensing (5-1), following substantial public comment from nearby residents. The plan includes land-stewardship frameworks for community-maintained areas, ground storage for non-motorized boats, and coordination on public docks to be forwarded to the Select Board.

The Commission also issued an Order of Conditions for the 550 King Street retail project (4-1 with one recusal) after the applicant agreed to retain two healthy black walnut trees and prevent light trespass into the wetland.
