Littleton Transportation Group Lands $96,690 Grant to Relaunch Regional Programs

LITTLETON — CrossTown Connect, the regional Transportation Management Association that serves Littleton, has been awarded a $96,690 grant to relaunch its regional transportation programs, town officials announced this week.

The grant will fund CrossTown Connect's effort to restart regional transportation programs across the towns it serves, according to the town's announcement. The award is one of the larger dollar figures to come out of Town Hall in recent days.

Littleton also announced a separate grant award tied to an initiative called "Advancing Accessibility in Littleton," aimed at improving accessibility in town, though no dollar figure was disclosed. Separately, the town released a Massachusetts OPEB Summary Report, which officials said shows Littleton continuing "strong progress" on long-term financial planning for its retiree benefit obligations.

On the practical side, drivers should expect delays beginning Monday, July 20, as crews start work on the Shattuck Street traffic island. The town's July 2026 newsletter is now posted online, and the town has also posted information on in-person early voting for the State Primary.
