Littleton Youth Baseball & Softball's Hit-a-Thon fundraiser topped $17,000 for local teams and fields.

LITTLETON — Youth sports organizations reported registration news and fundraising results this week, while Littleton High School had no games on the ArbiterLive schedule.

HIGH SCHOOL — Littleton High School's athletics department lists start-up dates for upcoming seasons: fall sports begin Aug. 24, 2026 (two weeks prior to Labor Day) for the high school, with winter sports starting Nov. 30, 2026, and spring sports starting March 15, 2027.

YOUTH LEAGUES — Littleton Youth Baseball & Softball (LYBS) announced its annual Hit-a-Thon fundraiser is complete, raising over $17,000. Top individual fundraisers Christopher Creed and Piper Castellot will each receive a $250 gift card to Dick's Sporting Goods, and the Tincaps (T-Ball) were recognized as the top fundraising team, earning a team party at Teamworks. LYBS said additional prize winners — including movie tickets, a Dick's Sporting Goods gift card and WooSox tickets — will be announced during an on-site raffle at the upcoming Jamboree. The organization also confirmed that the installation of lights at Jet Field is complete, a project it said resulted from years of fundraising including the Hit-a-Thon and grant funding; LYBS said the lights were already used during the past fall season and more details on a celebratory event are coming this spring. LYBS's 2026 summer registration is now closed.

Littleton Youth Soccer Club announced that registration for its Fall 2026 season is now open. The club, founded in the late 1970s and a member of the Nashoba Valley Youth Soccer League and Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association, said it provides playing opportunities for more than 600 young athletes each fall and spring.

The Nashoba Youth Hockey Association, which serves Littleton along with Westford and Tyngsboro, listed registration as open for its 2026-2027 season.
