Littleton Students Set for First Day of School Tuesday

Littleton Public Schools staff return to buildings Monday, Aug. 31, with students in kindergarten through grade 12 beginning the 2026-2027 school year the following day, Sept. 1.

TOWN HALL

The Select Board is scheduled to hold a joint meeting Monday, Aug. 31, at 6:30 p.m. in Room 103 at Town Hall with the Board of Assessors and the Park and Recreation Commission, according to the town's public meetings calendar. The Board of Assessors' portion of the joint session is set for 6:40 p.m., followed by the Park and Recreation Commission at 6:50 p.m. An internal Department Head Meeting is also on the town calendar for that morning.

Littleton Public Schools staff return Monday, Aug. 31, with kindergarten through grade 12 students beginning classes Wednesday, Sept. 1, according to the district's calendar. Schools will be closed Friday, Sept. 4, and again Monday, Sept. 7, for Labor Day, with pre-kindergarten students starting Tuesday, Sept. 8.
