Maura Healey's fiscal 2027 budget keeps the state's elder-services formula grant level at $16 per elder, worth roughly $39,000 to $40,000 annually and preserving $3 fitness classes, prompting one member to call it "fantastic news for COAs." Staff reported federal cuts have cut the town's farmer's market coupon funding in half, from $50 to $25 per household this year. The director also briefed the board on a proposed 86-unit affordable senior housing project at 410 Great Road from Hebrew Senior Life, still three to four years from completion.
