Littleton Select Board Signs Special Town Meeting Warrant, Approves Bar License Transfer
LITTLETON — October 6, 2025 — Littleton Select Board signs Special Town Meeting warrant and approves Tavern in the Square liquor license transfer. The board voted 3-0 Monday to approve the transfer of Tavern in the Square's all-alcoholic beverages on-premise license to Tavern Holdings LLC following an acquisition by Garnered Stage Partners, with attorney Stocks Cooper of Upton, Canal and Dublin assuring the board that "operationally you guys are not going to notice anything different." The board also unanimously signed and posted the October 28 Special Town Meeting warrant covering 14 articles, including a climate action plan and a stabilization fund expenditure whose motion will be made from the floor. Town Administrator reported a settlement on storm damage repairs at 36 King Street totaling $87,000 against overall damages of $106,524, and described an ongoing land-swap negotiation between Concord Lumber and Lo Poli Companies aimed at resolving a MassDOT access concern at 410 Great Road. Child care for ages 3 and up and van service through Elder and Human Services will be available at the October 28 meeting.
