Littleton Schools Post Highest Math Scores Since Pandemic, Eye Financial Policy Overhaul

LITTLETON — September 26, 2024 — Littleton schools report their strongest post-pandemic math scores as committee debates town financial policy. Assistant Superintendent Steele presented MAP Growth data showing 83 percent of district students at or above the national grade-level norm in math, up from 74 percent the prior year, with grades three through five at Russell Street School surpassing pre-pandemic benchmarks by up to four and a half RIT points — gains the district attributes to the K-5 Into Math curriculum adopted in fall 2022.
