Littleton Planning Board Approves 318-Unit King Street Residences Site Plan 4 to 1

LITTLETON — April 2, 2026 — Littleton Planning Board approves 318-unit King Street Residences site plan in a 4-to-1 vote. The board approved both the site plan and a stormwater permit for the JLB King Street Residences at 550 King Street — the first residential phase of the King Street Common mixed-use development — at its April 2 meeting. Member Margot Bloomstein cast the lone dissenting vote on the site plan, citing hesitation over a condition allowing the applicant to seek a state waiver to reduce three-bedroom units from the required 10 percent to 6 percent in this phase. Mark Seck of JLB Realty agreed to install 50 EV chargers on day one in the residential garage, plus 10 in the commercial portion. The board also voted 5 to 0 to commit up to $5,000 in matching funds toward a $100,000 MassDOT Transportation Management Association Grant aimed at reviving CrossTown Connect regional transit service, with Acton, Concord, and Sudbury each contributing up to $5,000 as well.
