Planning Board · Meeting of October 8, 2026
Littleton's Planning Board continued four active development hearings without a single approval, and a member challenged a developer's late request for town fees. Member Mark Montanari objected to a proposed "community impact contribution" for fire, police and elderly-transport services on Lepoli Companies' 16,646-square-foot King Street Common retail project, saying mitigation fees have always been "directly tied to something that they were doing that warranted it." The board continued that hearing, plus hearings on the Shaker Lane School project and a Boston Metro West Bible Church addition at 511 Newtown Road, to October 22. It also pushed back a proposed accessory-dwelling-unit zoning bylaw amendment to February 4, 2027, citing new draft state regulations, and sent a Storage Rentals of America expansion at 550 Newtown Road to November 5 after neighbors Dominic Ryan and Charles Howell described years of unresolved lighting and drainage complaints.
