Littleton Conservation Commission Continues Healy Corner Subdivision Case Stalled Since 2020

LITTLETON — February 4, 2025 — Littleton Conservation Commission continued three pending wetland cases to its March 4 meeting and set a mid-February deadline for a Powers Road restoration plan at its February 4 session. The commission directed property owner John McGegan to return February 18 with a formal plan detailing plant species, fill removal sequencing, and erosion controls for his 15 Powers Road site, and confirmed he does not need to file a Notice of Intent since the work returns the driveway to its prior footprint. Consultant Bruce Ringwall told the board that the Healy Corner subdivision — a 17-lot open-space project filed in 2019 and untouched since a 2020 Planning Board appeal — faces both a quorum problem and possible litigation resolution within weeks, prompting Chair Chase Kierig-Guy to suggest the applicant consider withdrawing: "I think you might be wise to take to your clients — withdrawing the application might be a thing you want to consider here." Ringwall also updated the board on 35 Queens Road, where the death of consultant Nick Pauling in August 2024 delayed options analysis on a septic design challenge; that matter was also continued to March 4. Conservation Administrator Amy Boghdan confirmed her February 27 departure and said a posting for a 25-hour assistant conservation agent is now circulating through three state municipal associations.
