Littleton closes town offices and braces for dangerous heat on July 3

Friday, July 3, through Saturday, July 4, 8 p.m. — An Extreme Heat Warning issued by the National Weather Service in Boston remains in effect through Saturday evening. The town urges residents to stay cool, hydrate, and check on neighbors. Littleton Public Safety, in partnership with Elder & Human Services and Administration, is monitoring conditions and is prepared to open a cooling center if needed.
