Extreme Heat Warning Stays in Effect for Littleton Through Saturday Evening

Saturday, July 4, The National Weather Service's Extreme Heat Warning, which took effect Wednesday at 10 a.m., remains in force through 8 p.m. this evening. Residents are encouraged to stay cool, stay hydrated, and limit time outdoors during peak afternoon hours. Littleton Public Safety, working with Elder & Human Services and the town administration, has been monitoring conditions and stands ready to open a cooling center for residents if needed.

Saturday, July 4, The Littleton Public Library is closed today in observance of Independence Day. Cardholders who need weekend reading can check out digital titles through the library's online borrowing services; the branch returns to its regular Tuesday–Saturday schedule next week.
