LITTLETON -- November 13, 2024, Littleton's Board of Health adopted its first formal Code of Conduct at its November 13 meeting, voting 4-0 after a public hearing. Chair Kevin Davis read the full document aloud before the board incorporated three amendments, correcting gendered language from "his or her" to "their," inserting a clarifying word in Section 1A, and adding an Oxford comma in the opening paragraph, then moved to a unanimous roll-call vote. The code requires members to conduct themselves civilly in person, in writing, and on social media, comply with the Open Meeting Law under MGL Chapter 39, Section 23B, and establishes that a disruptive member may be removed from a meeting by majority vote after an initial warning. Member Matt Wason reported in a separate update that Littleton's COVID-19 vaccination rate stands at 21 percent as of November 2, with RSV testing at 3.22 percent positive, above the typical off-season threshold.
