Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of October 15, 2026

LITTLETON — The Zoning Board of Appeals approved two residential permits and continued National Grid's LNG hearing to Nov. 12. The board unanimously granted a variance letting the Keutzers build a garage 19.6 feet from the street at 3 Nicole Lane, instead of 30 feet, and approved a special permit for a 1,197-square-foot accessory dwelling unit at 200 Whitcomb Ave. National Grid counsel Mark Reilley said the seasonal portable LNG site at 2 Cataldo Pond Way would protect service for about 31,000 customers.

Attorney Christopher Heap said the board's ability to attach conditions is "very very difficult" to resolve without. The hearing was continued after a sound study was handed out at the meeting, and a site walk was set for Nov. 7 at 8 a.m.
