Tabor Outlines Policy Subcommittee Work, Protect Act Timeline

LITTLETON — Newest Littleton School Committee member Annalise Tabor previews a Protect Act policy first reading set for September 24. In a "Paws on Littleton Public Schools" podcast interview with Vice Chair Shauna Hearn, Tabor, who spearheaded the Yes for Littleton campaign that passed the new Shaker Lane school building last fall, said she now sits on the committee's policy subcommittee, working with the Massachusetts Association of School Committees to update district policies dating to 2020. She said the Massachusetts Protect Act, signed in August, "is a huge, huge legislation for Massachusetts in general," and that Superintendent Cairo will detail school-law enforcement procedures at the September 24 meeting.
The full committee resumes its regular schedule September 10 at 7 p.m. at the Littleton Police Station, following a summer retreat.
