Littleton Housing Trust Votes to Request $500,000 From CPC

Littleton Affordable Housing Trust votes 4-0 to seek $500,000 from CPC, deliberately leaving developer names out. Chair Marianne Heer, Vice-Chair Bartlett Harvey and members Mark Rambacher and Matthew Nordhaus called an ad hoc virtual meeting ahead of the Community Preservation Committee's September 16 vote. Rambacher pushed to strip references to Hebrew Senior Living and Lupoli, along with the 410 Great Road address, from the formal request, warning that naming Lupoli "if people are going to be reluctant to give him money" could hurt the ask at town meeting.
A CPC representative identified as Carolyn offered comparative language from other Massachusetts CPA projects and asked for a finished application by Friday, September 11. The roll call vote passed 4-0 for a $500,000 request "for the purpose of creation of affordable housing."
