Select Board appoints three officers to police leadership

Littleton's Select Board restructures the police department leadership with three simultaneous promotions. Police Chief Douglas Landry promoted Sergeant Mark Scola to Deputy Chief of Police at Grade 17, Step 6; Detective Patrick O'Donoghue and Sergeant Kimberly Tocci both to Police Lieutenant at Grade 15, Step 5, with all appointments pending memorandums of understanding. The board unanimously authorized cancellation of the Flock Safety surveillance camera contract on the most advantageous terms, responding to sustained community concerns over data-sharing practices.
The board also appointed retiring Deputy Chief Jeffrey Patterson to Reserve Police Officer status and authorized a $467,442.64 road resurfacing contract with PJ Keating.
