Nashoba Youth Hockey Association opens 2026-2027 registration for Littleton skaters.

LITTLETON -- The Community Preservation Committee said Aug. 20 it will hold off on reviewing Park and Recreation's funding request for new Long Lake Beach docks until its September meeting, so the discussion is not confused with a separate, town-wide conversation about docks along Long Lake being pursued by the Conservation Commission and residents. The committee also noted small remaining balances tied to already-completed recreation projects, including basketball court resurfacing and a feasibility study for the town's former tennis courts, which are expected to be formally closed out at an upcoming meeting.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Nashoba Youth Hockey Association, which serves Westford, Littleton, Tyngsboro and surrounding towns, has opened registration for the 2026-2027 season, with programs including Mite, Squirt, PeeWee and girls travel teams. The organization's board is scheduled to meet Sept. 8 at the Westford Police Department in Westford.
