Littleton Youth Baseball & Softball's Hit-a-Thon fundraiser topped $17,000, and Nashoba Youth Hockey's Squirt 2 team is being celebrated as VHL champions.

LITTLETON -- Local youth sports organizations reported milestones and fresh registration windows for the week of July 13-19.

HIGH SCHOOL -- Littleton High School's athletic department has set start-up dates for the coming year: fall sports begin Aug. 24 (two weeks prior to Labor Day), winter sports begin Nov. 30 (the Monday following Thanksgiving), and spring sports begin March 15, 2027 (the third Monday in March). Littleton Middle School fall sports begin Sept. 1, the first day of school, with winter and spring dates aligned with the high school.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Littleton Youth Baseball & Softball (LYBS) announced its annual Hit-a-Thon fundraiser is complete, raising over $17,000. Top fundraisers Christopher Creed and Piper Castellot will each receive a $250 gift card to Dick's Sporting Goods, and the top fundraising team, the Tincaps (T-Ball), earned a team party at Teamworks. LYBS said additional prize winners, including movie tickets, a Dick's Sporting Goods gift card and WooSox tickets, will be announced during an on-site raffle at the upcoming Jamboree. The league also confirmed that new lights at Jet Softball Field have been completed, the result of years of fundraising, and said the 2026 summer registration period is now closed. LYBS is seeking volunteers for its all-volunteer board.

Littleton Youth Soccer Club said its Fall 2026 registration is now open. The club, a member of the Nashoba Valley Youth Soccer League and Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association, serves over 600 young athletes.

Nashoba Youth Hockey Association, which serves Westford, Littleton, Tyngsboro and surrounding towns, is highlighting its Squirt 2 team as "VHL Champions" and has opened registration for the 2026-2027 season, including its girls hockey program.

Littleton Youth Sports, the umbrella organization for Thunder Baseball, Thunder Lacrosse, Thunder Football and Thunder Basketball, continues to promote registration for its programs.
