Littleton Select Board Signs Indian Hill Purchase Deal Ahead of Special Town Meeting Vote

LITTLETON — February 13, 2023 — Littleton Select Board unanimously signs Indian Hill purchase-and-sale agreement and confirms two key appointments ahead of a Special Town Meeting. The board voted 5-0 Monday to execute the purchase-and-sale agreement for the Indian Hill Music Center at 32-36 King Street, contingent on passage of Article 7 at the February 15 Special Town Meeting, with a closing targeted roughly 45 days after a positive vote. Deputy Fire Chief Tom Clancy was appointed interim fire chief through June 30, 2023, or the return of Fire Chief Robert Connor — whichever comes first — and Patricia Moore, a career municipal finance professional with experience in Lexington, Newburyport, and Kittery, Maine, was confirmed as Director of Finance and Budget and Town Accountant, starting February 27. The board also accepted more than $11,000 in charitable gifts across town departments from the Henry Vincent Cooper Foundation, the Gore Foundation, Level Five, and Taka, and voted unanimously to recommend Articles 7 and 9 to town meeting while declining to take a formal position on Article 10, a firearms-related zoning bylaw.
