Littleton Select Board Cannot Agree on Town Administrator Contract, Talks Continue

LITTLETON — December 11, 2023 — Littleton Select Board fails to reach consensus on town administrator contract. The board convened a special meeting December 11 for the sole purpose of finalizing a contract with prospective town administrator Mr. Duggan, entering executive session 5-0 under MGL Chapter 30A, Section 21A(2). After roughly half an hour of closed-door negotiations, the board emerged without an agreement. "We were unable to get the consensus on the current contract," the chair told viewers watching on community access television, adding that negotiations with Duggan would continue. No timeline for a follow-up session was announced, and no member elaborated publicly on the terms in dispute.
