Littleton Select Board authorizes $400,000 for Indian Hill renovation design contracts

LITTLETON — December 18, 2023 — Littleton Select Board seats new town administrator and commits $400,000 to Indian Hill Music Center renovation design. The board unanimously introduced James Duggan as town administrator on his first day, December 18, under a three-year contract, while publicly thanking outgoing acting lead Ryan Farrar for nine months of solo management. The board authorized up to $400,000 in combined contracts for owner's project manager and designer services at 36 King Street, with bids opening December 28 and contracts expected to be awarded December 29 to meet a May 7 annual town meeting deadline for construction funding approval. The board also executed the deed and preservation restriction for 12 Robinson Road, completing a 20-month sale to buyer Joe Cataldo, who plans to close January 8, 2024, with proceeds returning to the Community Preservation Committee's historical commission fund. During public comment, resident Jenna Brownson urged the board to publicly commit to awarding a cannabis retail license to Saga Cannabis for community benefit; the board chair declined to comment on any pending applicant.
