Littleton Select Board Approves New Health Director, Foster Street Easements, Opens Town Meeting Warrant

LITTLETON — February 12, 2024 — Littleton Select Board approves new health director, Foster Street easements, and splits $20,000 corporate gift. The board unanimously appointed Francis Daigle as Health Director at Grade 16, Step 6, selected from roughly 20 applicants in a process led by the board of health and Human Resources Director Michelle Bybert. The board also executed an order of taking for easements on Foster Street, clearing the path for MassDOT to advertise a $7 million federally funded road reconstruction project for bid in March, and authorized dedication of a small town-owned parcel to support the same corridor. Dan Gray, general manager of Patriot Beverage, reported the company has surpassed its host community agreement job targets — reaching 92 employees against a goal of 50, with roughly $80 million invested at the Littleton facility — and the board voted to split the company's outstanding $20,000 HCA payment evenly between the 250th anniversary Patriots Day event and the new senior center.
