Cultural Council re-elects chair, picks new co-chair
Cultural Council · Meeting of September 22, 2026
Littleton Cultural Council re-elects its chair, adds a new co-chair, and leaves the secretary's chair empty. Chair Melissa Luongo won another term, abstaining "in more ways than one" from her own re-election, while Treasurer Ray Nash was also re-elected and Sarah Rustan moved from co-chair to sole grants coordinator. A member identified only as Karen was elected the new co-chair.
Treasurer Nash reported the council closed fiscal 2026 having spent all but $1,900 of roughly $17,300, and pegged $13,122 as available for fiscal 2027 grants, public art and administrative costs. No candidate emerged to replace outgoing Secretary Kristen "Kiki" Donahue, so the council tabled the decision, with Donahue continuing "for at least another month." The council also scrapped its November 10 meeting for a combined session November 3 and a second grant-allocation meeting November 9.
