Planning Board · Meeting of October 22, 2026

LITTLETON — The Littleton Planning Board voted unanimously to approve site plan and stormwater permits for three projects: King Street Common's retail phase three, a Shaker Lane School addition, and a Boston Metro West Bible Church expansion at 511 Newtown Road. All three votes passed 5-0. LaPoli Companies representative Morgan Pearson said the King Street retail buildings round out the development's central green space.

Asked by a resident, a speaker said housing units across the project total 319. The Shaker Lane approval added a condition requiring an ongoing abutter communication process after neighbors Yolanta and Peter Davis of 33 Shaker Lane said they had not received responses to a letter and an email raising construction concerns. At 511 Newtown Road, neighbor Peter McLaren described chronic flooding near Newtown Road and Harwood Avenue, prompting the board to agree to send a letter to the highway department.

"The concern is water flow and also water accumulation, especially in storms," McLaren said.
