Park & Rec Commission · Meeting of October 29, 2026

LITTLETON — The Littleton Park and Recreation Commission voted 4-0 to name Sol chair and Rob vice chair, filling posts left open after commissioner Pete's resignation. Members also voted 4-0 to post the vacant seat for two weeks, targeting a Select Board decision around November 16; Austin is the only known applicant so far. Vice Chair Rob pressed staff over the commission's switch from MyRec to Rectech registration software, saying "we've gotten complaints from users, vendors and staff on the current one." Staff said the town has already paid roughly $38,000 for Rectech through a staff-led bidding process, while still paying $9.85 a month for MyRec during the transition.

One member compared Littleton's cost to Northborough, which reportedly pays about $8,000 a year for MyRec on roughly $600,000 in program revenue. No vote was taken on the software issue.
