Littleton Officials Schedule Public Meeting on String of Break-Ins

Town officials have called a public meeting for Thursday evening to update residents on a series of breaking-and-entering incidents affecting homes and businesses around Littleton, according to a town alert posted Wednesday.

The town's News Flash service announced a public meeting Thursday, July 23, at 5:30 p.m. at the Littleton Council on Aging to brief residents on recent residential and business break-ins in town. The meeting appears on the town's public calendar as well, alongside a Thursday-morning Board of Assessors session and a Planning Board meeting the same evening.

Separately, the town reminded residents that real estate tax payments are due Aug. 3.

COMING UP

Littleton has a full week of public meetings ahead. The Board of Assessors meets Thursday at 7:30 a.m. virtually, followed by the break-in briefing at 5:30 p.m. at the Council on Aging and a Planning Board meeting at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom. The School Committee's negotiating subcommittee meets Friday, July 24, at 4 p.m. in the Murray Conference Room at Reuben Hoar Library, and the Select Board meets Monday, July 27, at 6:30 p.m. in Room 103 at Town Hall.

Residents can also catch drop-in office hours with Kyle Bubp on Friday, July 31. Real estate tax payments are due to the town by Aug. 3.
