Littleton Library Trustees Approve Two Revised Policies

Littleton library trustees approve two policies, hit a snag on a stalled wetlands permit. The Reuben Hoar Library Board of Trustees voted 4-0 to approve revised Children in the Library and Public Programs policies, while holding a new 3D Printer policy for further edits. Library Director Sam told the board a contractor called Cataldos still has not removed a final silt fence required to close out the library's conservation permit, and that requested as-built landscaping drawings appear not to exist: "I don't think they actually exist." Two landscaping firms bid to maintain the library's hillside, $18,135 and $8,975, but Sam said the higher bid exceeds a $10,000 municipal spending limit.
The board also approved four delayed-opening dates for staff meetings and learned a recently hired staff member, Katie Himmelberger, has resigned for health reasons.
