Historical Commission · Meeting of April 8, 2026
Littleton Historical Commission endorses preservation restriction for early 18th-century Whitcomb House. Chair Linda Stein led the commission's unanimous endorsement of a preservation restriction on the 31 Foster Street property, which includes approximately six acres and has already received preliminary approval from the Massachusetts Historical Commission. The Select Board will hold a hearing on the matter April 21.
In a second unanimous vote, the commission approved an agreement with Fenn & Learner to restore 15 to 17 gravestones at Westlawn Cemetery. The commission is also evaluating preservation approaches for the First Baptist Church property, which the church is seeking to sell to a nonprofit buyer.
