Littleton library trustees renew director's three-year contract, approve policy updates in April meeting. The Board of Library Trustees voted 6 to 0 in executive session to renew the three-year contract of Library Director Sam Alvarez, with final terms to be negotiated at a future meeting. In other business, the board voted 5 to 1 to approve an updated meeting room policy and unanimously authorized early library closures on May 5 and 6 to allow staff to attend annual town meeting.

The board also allocated $1,500 from the building gift fund for professional landscaping.
