Littleton Conservation Commission Unanimously Approves Three Wetland Restrictions at the Point

LITTLETON — February 18, 2025 — Littleton Conservation Commission unanimously approved three conservation restrictions protecting wetland habitat at a property known as the Point, restructured from two prior approvals to reflect three distinct ownership interests. Conservation attorney Ray Lyons of Harvard represented the ownership entities — DSM MB11 LLC, the Point LC4 LLC, and the Point LC1 LLC, the middle parcel held by Market Basket interests — telling commissioners the change was primarily administrative and that the restriction language was "as identical as possible" across the three documents. Each unanimous vote also authorized a commission co-chair to sign the associated baseline documentation report, which Lyons called "probably the most complete BDR I've seen for a property of this size in my career," prepared by consultant Steve Ibis. The restrictions, which protect habitat for state-listed species including Blanding's turtles, still require recording at the state Secretary of State's office. The meeting also marked the final official appearance of longtime Conservation Agent Amy Green, who is retiring after years of service to the commission.
