Affordable Housing Trust · Meeting of October 21, 2026
LITTLETON — The Littleton Affordable Housing Trust unanimously approved $440 in monthly rental assistance for a senior mobile home resident living on Social Security income of $1,996 a month. Trustees also confirmed plans to present at the October 27 Town Meeting in support of a $500,000 Community Preservation Committee funding request tied to the 410 Great Road senior housing project with Hebrew Senior Life. A resident publicly challenged trustees over Habitat for Humanity's plan to sell two units separately at 87 Tahattawan Road ahead of a November 6 groundbreaking, saying "I just really don't understand how we're proceeding without understanding the plan." Trustees said that question falls to the building inspector and town counsel.
The board also began exploring whether to help residents of a 108-unit mobile home park on Air Road form a purchasing cooperative after the owner signaled intent to sell. Minutes from September 22 were approved 4-0 with two abstentions, and the next meeting was set for November 17.
