LITTLETON — The Littleton Cultural Council elected Karen Berry as chair and Melissa Luongo as secretary, reshuffling leadership after longtime secretary Kristen "Kiki" Donahue announced she would not seek another term. Treasurer Ray Nash reported an unencumbered balance of $13,125 heading into the FY27 grant cycle, after setting aside $1,500 for outstanding fiscal 2026 grants, including a $500 award to an Acton-area organization that has not confirmed it will use the funds. Members tabled final administrative and public-art funding percentages until the November grant review meetings, after member Giuliana Castellanos said she "totally disagree[d]" with holding the Little Town in Bloom public art program flat, calling interest in the program's third year "exponential." Co-Chair Sarah Rustan said the council received 24 FY27 grant applications as of the meeting, down from 41 the prior year, with the application deadline falling October 15.
