Police Issue Follow-Up on Flock Camera System Operations

Chief Landry's office released a follow-up message clarifying operations of the Flock Safety Camera System, according to a News Flash posted Tuesday morning. The update did not announce new camera locations but provided residents additional context on the department's use of the system, building on the initial notice shared last week.
Town Hall also reminded residents that Long Lake will close to boating and swimming this Friday, August 7, so crews can treat invasive aquatic plants, a closure first announced Monday and still on the calendar for this week.
Several boards are meeting this week: the Housing Authority Board convenes Wednesday, August 5, at 5 p.m. at the Community Room on Shattuck Street, while the School Committee holds a retreat meeting Thursday, August 6, at 4:30 p.m. at the Central Office on King Street.
