Littleton Parks and Rec Moves to New Online Registration System

DATELINE — LITTLETON

Littleton Parks, Recreation & Community Education is transitioning to a new online registration system, the town announced on its website, a practical change for residents who sign up for youth programs, camps, and adult classes.

TOWN HALL

The town's Parks, Recreation & Community Education department is shifting to a new online registration platform this summer, according to a notice posted on the town website. Residents who register for youth sports, camps, or adult-education offerings should expect a different sign-up process once the transition takes effect.

The town also continues to flag ongoing work on the Shattuck Street traffic island, advising drivers to expect delays in the area as the project proceeds.

Littleton's committee calendar is active over the next several days. The Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee meets Tuesday, Aug. 18, at 6:30 p.m. in the Murray Conference Room at Reuben Hoar Library, while the Affordable Housing Trust holds a virtual session the same evening at 6:30 p.m.

The Conservation Commission meets virtually Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., followed by a 7:45 p.m. public hearing on the proposed development at 35 Shaker Lane, a project the town's News Flash has also tracked in recent days.

On Wednesday, Aug. 19, the town hosts a Community Block Party, and the Shaker Lane School Building Committee holds a virtual meeting at 7 p.m.
