Littleton Conservation Commission Approves Shed Permit, Accepts Two NOI Withdrawals

LITTLETON — March 4, 2025 — Littleton Conservation Commission closes Sarah Indian Way shed permit, accepts two project withdrawals. The commission voted unanimously Tuesday to issue a negative determination for a shed reconstruction and dock permit at 10 Sarah Indian Way, allowing owner John Brooks to proceed with replacing an existing lakeside shed under conditions requiring erosion controls, a roof-runoff infiltration system, and preservation of on-site trees. A separate enforcement order at 15 Powers Road remained open after a 20-foot shipping container placed inside the 50-foot wetland buffer zone was identified as a new violation; the commission gave owner John McGagan until the April 1 meeting to relocate the container outside the 100-foot buffer zone. Attorney Bruce Ringwald of Goldsmith Preston Ringwald secured unanimous withdrawals of two long-pending notices of intent — the Healy Corner subdivision at 195 Tadmuck Road and a house demolition at 35 Queen Street — telling commissioners that lots one and two at Healy Corner have already been sold and that the 35 Queen Street property owner is "heading in a different direction." A hearing for 91 Mattawanakee Trail was continued to March 18 after applicant Kevin Eastman experienced audio and camera failure throughout the virtual session.
