LITTLETON — Clean Lakes Committee surprised by warrant article transfer proposal. The committee, chaired by John Folsom, approved March meeting minutes unanimously at its April 29 gathering but learned that warrant article 30 calls for transferring management of the Clean Lakes Revolving Fund from the committee to the Conservation Commission. Mark Rambacher, the Select Board liaison, said he would investigate the reasoning behind the proposal.

The committee reported progress on four-lake herbicide treatment strategies, including fluridone application on Spectacle Pond for invasive fanwort and planned Florpyrauxifen-benzyl treatment on Forge Pond in early June for milfoil. The Spectacle Pond boat launch project is advancing with engineering drawings and draft permits completed.
