LITTLETON — The Sustainability Committee finalized the agenda and logistics for a Climate Action Plan public forum to gather community input on draft strategies. The walk-around activity will allow attendees to indicate priorities among five strategy sectors (Waste, Energy, Agriculture, Buildings, Transportation/Mobility), with committee members staffing each poster station and online participation via Mentimeter polling. The Littleton Electric Light and Water Department requested removal of three draft strategies, citing that actions are already underway or operate under different municipal regulatory frameworks; Charlotte Dolenz will continue conversations with LELWD about identifying alternative advocates.
The committee approved advertising through Facebook, Instagram, the town newsletter, and direct outreach to committee chairs, with the forum held at the Council on Aging.
