Sustainability Committee advances Climate Action Plan toward April Select Board endorsement

Littleton Sustainability Committee sets April deadline for Climate Action Plan Select Board endorsement. The committee met with Northern Middlesex Council of Governments Executive Director Jenny Raitt to establish final development phases, with the CAP draft due by late February and public forum scheduled for early March. A survey of 92 residents identified priorities including solar energy on municipal property, renewable energy programs, non-automobile transportation infrastructure, and local food systems.

The committee also reported increased engagement on its social media platforms and adjusted the timeline to provide adequate time for committee review and Select Board endorsement in April 2026.
