After Town Administrator Jim Duggan signaled that departments lack capacity to lead climate initiatives, the committee decided to slow its CAP feedback timeline and broaden outreach. The group will schedule an internal meeting with the town administrator and Select Board liaison Karen Morrison and offer a workshop through the Northern Middlesex Council of Governments to help department heads understand the plan's proposed measures.
Committee Chair Sarah Rambacher identified a potential Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection grant for food waste collection at Littleton Transfer Station with applications due around May 15.
