Clean Lakes Committee (CLC) · Meeting of March 12, 2026

LITTLETON — Clean Lakes Committee advances pond-restoration work across multiple sites. Chair John Folsom reported that the Littleton Water Department has finalized the Spectacle Pond boat ramp design, with construction budgeted at $48,000 for FY2027 after a $27,500 design phase covered by Community Preservation Committee funds. LWD has engaged Horsley Witten Group for a Mill Pond dam removal feasibility study due by June 30, 2026, with Folsom and Select Board Liaison Mark Rambacher serving as Town contacts.

Spring herbicide treatments are planned for Spectacle Pond, and the Committee discussed coordinating summer treatments at Forge Pond with Westford's existing multi-year contract.
