Littleton Select Board and Finance Committee review FY27 budgets; Saturday session scheduled for final decisions. Multiple departments presented requests Wednesday evening. Conservation directed lake management toward community preservation funding after substantially reducing a $123,000 request; Board of Health agreed to $850 in cuts but will reconsider a $450 membership reinstatement Saturday.
Cemetery Commission's $215,616 budget was reduced $1,400, with a $78,000 truck replacement pending capital review. Parks and Recreation reported $740,000 in revolving funds. Town Administrator's budget was cut $8,000.
Select Board Chair Gary Wilson flagged concern about proportionally larger cuts to smaller departments during the review.
