Littleton Select Board appoints Project Manager amid personnel dispute, greenlights two public works contracts. Nancy Glencross was appointed Project Manager at Grade 13, Step 10 in a 4-1 vote opposed by Select Board Member Mark Rambacher, who contended the reclassification bypassed the budget process; Town Administrator James A. Duggan cited $20,000-$25,000 in annual budget savings.
The Board unanimously approved a $291,545 contract with PJ Albert Construction for Russell Street resurfacing and sidewalk work and a $156,000 contract with MJ Cataldo for Frog Pond restoration and boardwalk replacement, funded through local roadway repair and Community Preservation Committee money. Thomas McLaughlin was unanimously promoted from IT Technician to Information Systems Manager at Grade 14, Step 7.
