Select Board finalizes three articles for May 5 town meeting
Select Board · Meeting of March 30, 2026
LITTLETON — The Littleton Select Board voted 5-0 to place Articles 13 and 25 on the May 5 Annual Town Meeting warrant, and 3-0 to place Article 26, which would rescind the town's authority to repair private ways and delete related bylaws. Article 13 authorizes $1.49 million from capital stabilization funds for fire engine replacement and a town hall feasibility study; Article 25 amends Council on Aging transportation fund rules; Article 26, which saw two abstentions, prompted announcement of a special public meeting to discuss the measure. In a subsequent joint meeting, the Charter Committee and Select Board reviewed a draft Charter covering executive and legislative structure, officer roles, and administrative procedures, with the committee indicating the proposal would be presented at the May town meeting.
