Littleton Select Board authorizes interim police chief negotiations as chief readies retirement. Police Chief Matthew Pinard will leave office May 1, and the board voted unanimously to enter executive session to negotiate interim chief contract terms with Deputy Chief Jeffrey Patterson. The board also unanimously approved off-duty police details at Gillette Stadium for FIFA series in June and appointed James L.
Barthel, founder of a local gourmet mushroom company, to the Agricultural Commission. The board discussed policy proposals on bond-financed municipal facilities and immigration enforcement procedures.
