Select Board Authorizes $400,000 for Shaker Lane School Project

Littleton Select Board authorizes $400K for school project professionals. The Select Board unanimously authorized Town Administrator James A. Duggan to commit $400,000 for Shaker Lane Elementary School project services: $50,000 to Turner & Townsend Heery (OPM), $150,000 to Studio G Architects, and $200,000 to Gilbane Building Company for construction management.
The Board unanimously appointed police officers Jonathan Proia and Steve McAvey, promoted Brian Casey to Police Sergeant, and increased the Senior Tax Work Off Program Abatement cap for seniors from $1,500 to $2,000 annually effective July 1, 2026. Additional unanimous votes appointed Elizabeth Donegan to the Sustainability Committee, amended G.W. Archer's liquor license to permit single-container sales, and approved use of Littleton Common on March 28 for a Pro-Democracy Standout.
