Select Board Approves Transfer Station Fee Increases Following Public Hearing

Littleton Select Board approves transfer station fee increases effective July first. Following a public hearing where resident Rob Rounce questioned whether transfer station revenues fully cover operating costs, the board voted unanimously to raise the senior annual sticker from 70 dollars to 80 dollars, regular second sticker from 80 to 90 dollars, and bag fees across all categories. The board also unanimously approved two new town positions at Grades 13 and 14, a 406,164-dollar resurfacing contract with PJ Alvert, Inc., and appointed Patricia Schuberg to the Housing Authority through June 30, 2026.
