Littleton Select Board and Finance Committee approve updated financial management policy. The joint March 23 meeting unanimously approved amendments to reshape the town's annual budget process framework, with Select Board Chair Karen Morrison, Vice Chair Matthew Nordhaus, Clerk Gary Wilson, and member Mark Rambacher joining Finance Committee Chair Steve Venuti and members Fred Faulkner, Rick Kingsley, and Sam Hayes in the vote. Town Treasurer Robin Healy reported the FY2027 operating budget showing an $8,570 positive variance as of March 23, with discussion of capital stabilization accounts, transfer station fee policies, and Parks Recreation and Community Education's $740,000 revolving fund balance.
The amended policy, which establishes formal capital planning roles and outlines budget process structure, will appear on the May 5 annual town meeting warrant.
